Welcome! My name is Erin Conner, and I am graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Journalism and Electronic Media. Until my senior year of college, I was completely indecisive in regard to the career path I wanted to follow. I loved writing, entertainment, TV production and broadcast news. During the fall semester of my senior year at UTK, I took a “digital content creation” course and fell in love with the freedom that comes with producing creative content. While I had a LOT to learn (and still do), I realized that I could create an interesting story and/or social media post out of…  nothing. As a result of one class assignment that I shared with a local restaurant I waitress at, I was offered a social media marketing internship with them. Shortly thereafter, I realized I had just discovered my passions: (1) I love creating content for social media, and (2) there is a need for social media marketing right in front of us as social media is becoming ever-so important to a business’s sustainability. So here we are… I am SO happy you found my page!

While I inevitably would always blank when tasked with the challenge of sharing “three fun facts” about myself at the beginning of each semester in every class since 9th grade, I will spend the next 45 minutes staring blankly into space aiming to do just that…

• When I was 12 years old, I would wake up early every morning (alarm and all) over summer break to watch the “Today” show with my mom; that was quality mother-daughter time for us… core memory!
• During my sophomore fall semester of college, I wrote my Sociology final paper six hours following the labor and delivery of my son, Kaden. I am convinced that paper is actually what put me into labor the night before; I made sure to let my professor know it!
• I was so obsessed with Luke Bryan in middle and high school that my friends decorated my locker with a collage of 50 Luke Bryan pictures for my birthday. I kept it up for six more months, and you best believe I loved every second of it!
